Lifetime North Scottsdale has been an amazing place for myself and my family to go to ! I have to hand it to the staff for making this place a great place to be. From the moment you walk in, the front staff is so friendly ( shoutout to Chase who is always greeting us!) , the kids academy /swim staff making our girls feel so loved and welcomed, and the fitness classes/ instructors that we’ve worked with so far are awesome !
Having moved from out of state and not knowing very many people in the community, Lifetime has not only helped us grow physically, mentally and emotionally in many ways but also helped us meet some awesome friends/families.
Such a great place for the whole family !❤️
Life Time at North Scottsdale has me impressed, though I'm a bit biased, coming from my main Life Time being Fashion Square. The staff's warmth is a highlight, and the doubled up cardio machines are a plus. The neatly laid-out weight machines specify body parts they target. The spacious sauna and spas offer a comfortable experience, but I miss a cold plunge. The men's locker room is well-designed. However, there can be a musty smell. Showers get the job done, though some have quirks. For a gym, it functions perfectly, meeting expectations.
I just joined this gym and am very satisfied with my decision for several reasons. The club is spotless.... They maintain an extremely hygienic and sanitary club from the showers and changing areas to the actual equipment and the restaurant and overall club. I have been in the club from early in the morning till late in the evening and I can say this is consistently spotless.
The club always has parking available, every single person that greets you as you walk in is friendly and calls you by your name. I am fortunate to have met Maya, in of the personal trainers upstairs. She is phenomenal and has helped me set up a workout plan that is just right for me as I know it is attainable and also challenges me to the pint where I have seen a difference in my strength. I am happy I decided to join the club.
Great potential but terrible maintenance of overall facilities. Burnt out light bulbs in pool area, smelly locker rooms, painful to walk on pool deck, and closed interior hot tubs for months after a tragic fatality. I’ve told staff multiple times about many of these fixed, some that are super simply like dead light bulbs near the outdoor hot tub, but nothing has been addressed in over a year.
Outdoor pool is always filled with the swim team. Life guards don’t control wild kids from playing in the lap pool lanes inside. The indoor pools are also very warm.
Myself and many of my friends have ended our memberships and have joined nearby clubs for a better experience.
Ok gym but not a great value for your money. The GTX classes are obnoxious, they are extremely loud. They overtake your noise canceling headphones anywhere near the treadmills or weight machines. It's so bad on Saturday and Sundays I have to leave and use my treadmill at home. I've given them this feedback, guess they don't care.
I recently rejoined for the past several months the whirlpool has been completely closed under construction. I was one of the first people to join when they first opened long ago and they had a wonderful waterfall that helped tremendously with tight muscles. They remodeled and removed it. Now they just close it for months and l look behind the curtain and nothing is happening. The same thing goes on with the ladies steam room. Very disappointing.
This place is big, bright and lots to do. You could spend the whole day here with the family. Pool with slip and slide - restaurant, coffee shop, indoor basketball court. The staff is super nice and well outfitted. It is a little pricey, but if you are going to use it a lot, it is worth it.
Best gym period. I've been fortunate to travel USA and live in North Scottsdale and always find Lifetime consistent. Patrick the consignee and Lisa M. Pulates instructors are standouts for me. My only complaint would be the indoor pools smell heavily of chlorine. Outdoor lap swim and immediate shower/lotion for me wins.
